Good day to you, and welcome back to Seaworthy. My two-month long, unplanned sabbatical has ended with the release of today's comic. In this episode, the Captain has finally attained the rank of Admiral, as we all knew he would. But, as we also knew, it was too good to last. All right, we didn't know any of that; I'm sure you were quite surprised that I had garnished the comeback-comic with a ridiculous plot hook like that! This comic is somewhat longer than the previous comics, a trend which may continue for at least the next couple of comics. That's right, I am planning on making more comics. I really want to get back into doing the comic on a regular basis. I have a story to tell, damnit, and I want to keep telling it before I completely lose my sense of momentum and quit altogether.

I would very much like to do a comic every week on Wednesday (just like the good old days), so I want to set that as a personal goal. However, I am reluctant to promise you, the avid readers, a new comic every Wednesday without fail. If there's something I've learned about the harsh, demanding webcomic world, it's that promises very quickly turn into broken promises. So for now, I'm leaving the big red "Yeah Right!" up on the Seaworthy logo image, and we'll see where it goes from here

Rest assured, however, that Seaworthy will not disappear until all of its stories have been told, and by Jove, I've got a lot of them!
