Author's Notes:

Hello to my largest audience ever!

First of all, did anyone find today's comic a bit irreverent? Just wondering...

That being said, welcome to the first, non-storyline comic following the wildly popular "Old Levi" epic. In today's episode, Captain Strathclyde relies on folklore and myth to combat the ruthless and unnatural Count Bloodbeard, whose intent is to turn him and his crew into a band of zombies. Whether he plans to add the Seaworthy to his fleet or sink her to the bottom, we don't know. What we DO know is that none of the usual remedies for attacks by the undead seem to be working against this particular Vampirate. In the end, however, we find that garlic can indeed be a powerful weapon against one's foes (or friends, for that matter). If this comic went on past the final panel, you can bet there would be a lot of near-mutinying, the crew forcing breathmints on the Captain, and generally a lot of swabbing the vomit from the deck. I think I'm glad that I ended it where I did.

Okay, enough sillyness. That blurb was entirely too silly. Seriously now, the last few days have kind of changed the way I look at the comic. The site has had hundreds more viewers than it typically gets, and that's a great thing. However, the site is probably going to need some major upgrading in order to cater to the new, larger crowd. These will be coming in the near future, so stay tuned for all that. The changes will probably be found high and low on this site; we are talking a major undertaking here. Still, it is a delight to have so many new visitors to the site, and I hope you like what you see enough to keep coming back! And maybe, just maybe, you like what you see enough to vote for this comic on BcX and TWC! But your satisfaction, and maybe a couple of stray chuckles, are what I really strive to force out of you all. Thank you for coming by, and I hope you like Seaworthy!

And for those of you who already like Seaworthy, you rock also.
