Author's Notes:

Well, what can I say about today's comic? Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day! Don't emulate the Captain if you are in a rough part of town where pirates like to hang out; you will probably end up like him (only you might not get the breathing hole in your full-body cast). This serves as an indirect cautionary note for all of you suburban gangsta rap people as well.

You may notice that the Captain has the skeletal remains of a certain bird attached to his right shoulder: I give you... THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF THE TALKING PARROT!! That's right, the fans wanted him back, and they got their wish this day! Sorry folks; I'm still merely toying with the idea of bringing the annoying parrot back (i.e. I need to think of another amusing way to kill him off in the future).

I fiddled around a bit with experimentation on the panel formats today, and I hope that everyone finds the comic more or less readable (I threw in some arrows where the direction in which one should read the panels is less obvious). Enjoy, and Vote for Seaworthy!
