Author's Notes:
OKay, this time Happy LATE Christmas to everyone out there! This comic is probably so long past Christmas that you could probably care less, but I felt that it had to be made (i.e. I didn't want to wait until NEXT Christmas to do it because the idea was fresh). So here is the final Christmas comic from Seaworthy, and indeed the final comic of 2007! I figured the perfect way to end my first year of comics was with the death of Santa. As for the title of the comic, "daed si atnaS," it kind of a play on the whole "Paul is dead" hoax of 1966 when everyone (okay, only the kooks) thought Paul was dead because when you played some song or another backwards it said that message. So the title is "Santa is dead" backwards... yeah, I know, kind of a stretch. Plus the clues that Santa is dead are fair obvious (like the cutlass in his chest) so it's not much of a conspiracy. Hope you enjoyed the comic, anyhow! I like the scene of the Captain discovering what he's done.
And just in case you were accidentally offended, I'd like to clear this up: the Captain is actually handing the kid Santa's bag of toys, not his chopped up corpse in a sack. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
